Qualifications

• State of Michigan license in respective discipline required.
• Basic Life Support (AHA) certification within 120 days of hire/date.
• CADC or CAADC certification required or to be pursued per policy.
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work or Psychology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate group and individual therapy using evidence-based techniques.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate care services including case management and aftercare planning.
• Present information to patients regarding chemical dependency and resources.
• Recognize crises and implement immediate interventions with the team.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and share feedback for improvement.
• Mentor new staff and engage in professional development.
