Job summary

Job Description

General Summary:

You will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric and chemical dependency services in an ambulatory clinic setting within a region of the business unit. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions including individual, group, conjoint, family, and didactic therapy sessions. You will work with adult individuals and couples, families, adolescents, and children, and as qualified, you will provide crisis intervention services to support clients in acute distress. You will maintain detailed clinical documentation, collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams, and contribute to the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans that address each client's unique needs and recovery goals. You will also participate in ongoing clinical supervision, professional development activities, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of exceptional care and maintain compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:

  • Master's Degree from an accredited school of social work (required)
  • Two to four (2-4) years of post-master's experience in Ambulatory Mental Health/Substance Use Disorder Clinics (preferred)

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

  • Current Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
  • Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) certification through the Michigan Board of Addiction Professionals (MCBAP), or documented plan on file with MCBAP demonstrating certification is in process
