Job summary

Bartech Staffing seeks an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Engineer to manage, develop, and evaluate next-generation ADAS features for vehicle programs in MI. You will work with local and international teams to plan, develop, and deliver ADAS components from concept to production, ensuring quality and timely outputs.

The role requires 5+ years in ADAS development, expertise in CAN networks, DFMEA/DRBFM, and hands-on Python/C++ development for ADAS systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field (ME/CS/CE/EE/Robotics)
• 5+ years leading or contributing to mid-size/large ADAS projects
• Experience with vehicle ECU, CAN/CAN-FD networks
• Experience with DFMEA/DRBFM/FTA and related tools
• Experience developing ADAS features (AEB, ACC, LKAS, PKSB, BSM, PVM, BGM) and cameras
• Experience in Python/C++ development for ADAS
• Root-cause analysis and countermeasure implementation for field issues
• System software and hardware integration, CAN data analysis, MIL/HIL testing

Responsibilities

• Plan structure of parts and systems, define interfaces and parameters
• Ensure parts development outputs (Part Lists, Wire Specs, Part Specs) meet deadlines
• Develop products for vehicle projects with cross-group collaboration
• Develop ADAS parts through changes and SOP
• Create/maintain development schedules and assess risks (cost, mass, quality)
• Support testing at event locations and with local/global engineers
• Coordinate with Design Center staff and international counterparts
• Grow capability in ADAS system development for future vehicles
• Collaborate with local customers and engineers for joint testing
