Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is seeking a Senior Active Directory Engineer to design and implement identity workstreams for acquisitions.

You will assess new environments, plan migration and coexistence across forests, ensuring secure, auditable connections and Day-1 readiness. This hands-on role requires collaboration with IT leadership, Security, Legal, and the IMO to deliver timely identity consolidation and reliable access.

Qualifications

• 8+ years engineering enterprise Active Directory in multi-domain environments.
• Experience leading identity workstreams for acquisitions or divestitures.
• Hands-on with AD migration tools and cross-forest design.

Responsibilities

• Design paths to consolidate forests, including temporary coexistence and trusts.
• Plan and execute inter-forest migrations of users, groups, and devices.
• Remediate naming collisions, UPN suffix conflicts, and stale accounts.
• Migrate or rebuild services like DNS, PKI, file shares, and apps.
• Deliver Day-1 capabilities such as cross-company email visibility and SSO.
• Maintain runbooks, cutover plans, and post-migration validation.
