You will handle insurance verification, patient check-in, and collections with professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in customer service or patient financial services.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Experience with common office software.

Responsibilities

• Verifies patient demographics and inputs into the EHR to maximize reimbursement and minimize denials.
• Proficient in services including inpatient, obstetrics, emergency, and other areas; coverage may be 24/7.
• Verifies insurance benefits and explains financial responsibility to patients.
• Submits timely notifications according to insurance guidelines to reduce denials and ensure compliance.
• Mentors and trains PAS staff; handles escalations and SME responsibilities.
