Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group is seeking a Pharmacy Technician III Certified Acute Care to support pharmacists by handling complex compounding, medication histories, and distribution under limited supervision. You will maintain workflows, mentor new staff, and ensure safe, cost-effective services while delivering quality customer service.

Requires certification and HS diploma; 5 years experience preferred; 12-month advanced certification timeline. Shift is Days/Weekend Rotation (USA).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5 years of experience as a pharmacy technician (or 4 years considered).
• Certified Pharmacy Technician and must complete an advanced pharmacy technician certification within 12 months of starting the role.

Responsibilities

• Maintains pharmacy workflow including compounding and distribution of medications.
• Serves as a reference for other pharmacy technicians.
• Mentors in training and orientation of new employees.
• Communicates effectively with team members in and outside of pharmacy, providing quality customer service.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
