Job summary

Alliant Insurance Services is seeking an experienced actuary to conduct analysis, pricing and risk assessment across life, health, and casualty insurance. The role requires deep knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and finance, backed by at least ten years of related work experience and professional actuarial credentials.

The successful candidate will lead critical actuarial projects, train teammates, and ensure data quality while communicating insights to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related field.
• Ten or more years of related work experience.
• ACAS/ASA certification required for Property & Casualty or Life & Health tracks, with a commitment to fellowship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and oversight for major strategic initiatives.
• Prepares and analyzes reports to identify trends.
• Performs analyses with data, forecasting and modeling.
• Documents data and recommends solutions based on research.
• Develops reports and presentations for management and implementation plans.
• Performs quality assurance checks on others' work.
• Reviews procedures and proposes improvements.
• Manages actuarial projects and trains team members.
• Maintains data integrity and adheres to standards.
• Travel about 10% of the time.
• Other duties as assigned.
