Job summary

The Jonus Group is placing a Senior Actuary for a leading specialty insurer in Chicagoland/ NYC with hybrid in-office work three days a week. The role focuses on Pro­fessional Lines pricing including D&O, E&O, and EPLI, reporting to senior leadership and partnering with underwriting and claims teams.

Ideal candidates hold ACAS with FCAS preferred, 7+ years in Commercial Lines pricing, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• ACAS is required; FCAS preferred.
• 7+ years actuarial experience with a focus on Commercial Lines pricing.
• Professional Lines experience is highly preferred.
• Strong project leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead rate indications, pricing analyses, and portfolio management initiatives.
• Develop pricing tools and frameworks to support profitable growth.
• Evaluate new business opportunities and emerging product lines.
• Partner closely with Underwriting, Claims, and senior business leaders.
• Present strategic recommendations and actuarial insights to executive leadership.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives.
