Job summary

A-CAP Services LLC, based onsite in Miami, seeks a Senior Actuary to lead product pricing, capital planning, and profitability analyses across fixed annuities and life insurance products. The role involves collaboration with senior management and interaction with multiple actuarial functions within the group.

The ideal candidate has a 5+ year actuarial background, ASA/FSA designation, and strong skills in modeling (GGY AXIS) and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5+ years actuarial experience.
• ASA or FSA designation is required or strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and GGY AXIS (or similar software).
• Experience with annuity and life product actuarial work including pricing, forecasting, profitability analyses.

Responsibilities

• Manage product pricing for new and in-force products, focused on fixed annuities and life insurance products.
• Analyze reinsurance arrangements including pricing, relationship management, and administration.
• Price, maintain, and advise on modeling techniques and pricing profitability metrics.
• Handle capital planning, forecasting and modeling including RBC and other capital models.
• Conduct earnings and profitability analyses and support board reporting.
• Support subsidiary actuarial functions with valuation, cash flow testing, and pro-forma planning.
