Job summary

FCAS designation is preferred; five+ years of technical actuarial experience across multiple lines of business is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Five+ years of technical actuarial experience across multiple lines of business.
• ACAS or higher designation or equivalent work experience.
• Strong understanding of actuarial concepts and methods.
• Advanced Excel skills; intermediate SQL programming ability.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead actuarial projects and present results and recommendations.
• Independently solve analytical problems and apply new techniques as needed.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and mentor colleagues.
• Develop experience exhibits and analyses to inform business strategy.
• Support regulatory inquiries and state/federal compliance.
• Collaborate with business partners to identify root causes of trends.
• Lead or participate in community recruiting and training activities.
• Communicate results to upper management clearly and effectively.
