Job summary

Coalition, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Actuary to lead pricing strategy and design, engineering robust pricing frameworks and dashboards for underwriters and partners.

You will drive data-driven pricing insights and oversee governance to ensure accuracy and scalability across dynamic cyber insurance markets. The role requires deep actuarial pricing expertise, FCAS preferred, and the ability to translate complex concepts for executives while shaping Coalition's pricing architecture in a

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Insurance pricing.
• FCAS certification preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex pricing initiatives.
• Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science or a related field.
• Deep subject matter expertise in actuarial pricing & reserving concepts.
• Excellent communication skills including ability to convey information to managers and teams, and to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Ability to think long-term strategically and operationally, balancing short-term deliveries with long-term outcomes.
• Ability to influence partners and build strong relationships.
• Ability to develop, assess and monitor numerous business metrics to optimize pricing proposals.

Responsibilities

• Develop standardized monitoring dashboards to assess business performance and market trends with pricing action recommendations.
• Provide SME support for pricing governance controls.
• Peer-review complex pricing initiatives such as new pricing structures and risk signals proposals.
• Translate sophisticated technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders; design UI/UX for internal pricing tools.
• Provide actuarial expertise support for rating plan implementation, automation, and standardization initiatives.
• Collaborate across insurance, data science, engineering and security to create data-driven pricing solutions.
• Act as ambassador for the actuarial team and maintain stakeholder satisfaction.
