Job summary

Pacific Guardian Life (PGL) is seeking an actuary to join our corporate actuarial team in Hawai‘i, with remote or in-person options. You’ll work with the corporate actuarial team and business line actuaries to drive actuarial analysis, forecasting and risk-based decisions within our risk management framework.

The role emphasizes data management, AXIS/GGY Axis work, and collaboration with stakeholders across departments to improve data systems, models and reporting for stable earnings and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, actuarial science, or business.
• 10+ years of professional actuarial work experience in annuities or life insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assure quality data management and develop reports.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure reliable data.
• Assist the Appointed Actuary with data and systems.
• Provide interpretation to Chief Actuary/Chief Risk Officer.
• Maintain knowledge of actuarial standards and best practices.
