Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst or Associate Actuary to join our North American Headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois or any US office. This role supports Zurich’s Liability line of business and is part of the Underwriting organization.

The position focuses on pricing analysis, governance, and cross-functional collaboration with actuarial, IT, and product teams, with opportunities for rate filing support and tool development. Hybrid work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics/Statistics or Actuarial Sciences.
• ACAS or FCAS or equivalent certification.
• 5+ actuarial exams with 2+ years actuarial experience.
• 3+ actuarial exams with 3+ years actuarial experience.

Responsibilities

• Detailed pricing analysis support including the development of rates, rating plans, and portfolio management strategies.
• Provide input and guidance to actuarial, statistical, and IT functions to support current and future pricing tools across multiple platforms.
• Provide Lead support for Pricing Tools and related monitoring including working knowledge of underlying predictive models
• Establish and maintain governance and monitoring frameworks
• Where appropriate, support pricing workshops and rate filing indications.
