Job summary

Zurich North America seeks a Senior Actuarial Analyst or Associate Actuary to join our Underwriting organization, with options to base in Schaumburg, IL or any US office. The role supports the Liability line and sits within the General Liability Pricing team delivering pricing insights across platforms.

The position requires actuarial exams progress, a strong mathematical background, and experience in pricing tools, governance, and collaboration with IT and product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics/Statistics or Actuarial Sciences with 5+ years actuarial experience
• ACAS or equivalent international certification
• Experience in pricing, reserving, and capital management is preferred

Responsibilities

• Detailed pricing analysis support including development of rates, rating plans, and portfolio management strategies
• Provide input to actuarial, statistical, and IT functions to support pricing tools across platforms
• Lead support for Pricing Tools and monitoring including working knowledge of predictive models
• Build new or adhere to governance and monitoring frameworks
• Support cross-functional meetings and rate filing indications where appropriate
• Communicate and collaborate within and between teams

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics/Statistics or Actuarial Sciences

ACAS or equivalent international certification
