Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst or Associate Actuary to join our Underwriting team at the North American Headquarters in Schaumburg, IL, with option to work from other US offices. The role supports the Liability line of business and interacts with actuarial, product management, and underwriting teams.

The position involves detailed pricing analysis, development of rates, rate indications, and governance of pricing tools, with opportunities to influence pricing strategy

Qualifications

• Pricing analysis experience including rate development, rating plans, and portfolio management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with cross-functional collaboration
• Experience with pricing tools and predictive modeling concepts

Responsibilities

• Detailed pricing analysis, including rate development, rating plans, and portfolio management.
• Provide input to actuarial, statistical and IT on pricing tools across platforms.
• Lead support for Pricing Tools and monitoring, including knowledge of predictive models.
• Build or adhere to governance and monitoring frameworks.
• Support Virtuous Circle meetings across the organization.
• Provide rate filing support and evaluation of pricing levels.
• Establish and maintain communication within and between teams.
