ICW Group is seeking a senior actuarial and pricing analytics leader in San Diego to guide department direction, partner with executives, and manage a team of credentialed actuaries and analysts. The role emphasizes strategic oversight, regulatory alignment, and cross-functional collaboration across lines of business.

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of leadership in actuarial work, ACAS/FCAS or related certifications, and a proven ability to drive analytics initiatives that support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics or related field. Advanced degrees preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience managing multiple lines of business or enterprise-wide initiatives.
• ACAS required; FCAS, CSPA or Data Science certs preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and upholds department direction and vision.
• Leads the actuarial and pricing analytics department in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Represents the company with regulators and external industry groups.
• Develops new business processes or comprehensive analytic efforts.
• Ensures work products support business growth and profitability.
• Modifies processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Advises senior leadership on actuarial strategy, risk and emerging issues.
• Partners with business leaders to administer multiple lines of business.
• Organizes actuarial efforts to develop new products and expand into markets.
• Oversees team performance, budgeting, and resources; ensures regulatory compliance.
• Instills awareness of regulatory standards and ICW AI data usage.
