Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, data science, or related field requiring modeling.
• CSPA designation preferred; 2+ actuarial exams preferred.
• Generally 5+ years actuarial experience with predictive analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead predictive analytics initiatives for actuarial planning and profitability.
• Apply data mining, analytics, and modeling to identify relationships and provide actionable recommendations.
• Serve as AI knowledge worker leveraging AI tools for analyses.
• Lead profitability reviews and recommend rate/underwriting actions.
• Support reserving analysis and prepare recommendations for approval.
• Lead loss cost reviews and communicate actions to business units.
• Document methodologies, data sources, and assumptions.
• Conduct cross-functional peer reviews and present analyses to non-technical audiences.
• Recommend enhancements to actuarial tools and processes.
• Build relationships and lead cross-functional communication.
