Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in healthcare actuarial, financial forecasting, or trend analytics.
• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
• 10+ years of comprehensive actuarial experience, including at least 7 years in the healthcare industry.
• Bachelor's degree as specified in the education requirement.
• ASA and MAAA are required; FSA is preferred.
• Willingness to travel 25–50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead management responsibilities including hiring, coaching, performance management, rewards, and budgeting for the team.
• Serve as trusted advisor to Senior Management, translating actuarial data into strategic insights.
• Oversee valuation, reserves, and compliance with ASOPs and regulatory standards.
• Direct and oversee actuarial work products with accuracy and professional standards.
• Lead financial forecasting including Fall Plan and reforecasts with FP&A input.
• Develop monthly financial outlooks and monitor performance against forecasts.
• Lead trend analytics, translating insights into medical economics strategies.
• Mentor staff, foster inclusion, and implement succession planning.
