Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years actuarial experience.
• ASA or FSA designation.

Responsibilities

• Drive national forecasting efforts and enhancements by identifying opportunities to improve forecast accuracy, analytical capabilities, and process/tool efficiency.
• Support the Large Group rate review process and connect forecasting insights with pricing considerations.
• Partner with Finance, Insured Actuarial, and Underwriting teams to understand business needs, prioritize analytical work, and translate market input into clear forecasting recommendations.
• Lead analyses and projects that deepen understanding of business performance, connect underwriting data and insights with forecast projections, and evaluate emerging risks and opportunities.
• Manage projects from planning through implementation by establishing priorities, coordinating stakeholders, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion of high-quality deliverables.
• Provide actuarial support to assigned markets, helping evaluate performance, support pricing initiatives, and inform strategies that balance membership growth, profitability, and evolving market dynamics.
• Communicate observations and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, and contribute to written materials, presentations, and stakeholder discussions that connect analytical findings to the broader business context.
• Foster a collaborative team environment, share knowledge, and support the development of broader team capabilities.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and development support to actuarial students or other team members, including setting priorities, reviewing work, providing coaching and feedback, and creating opportunities for increased ownership.
