Job summary

Ally Financial is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to develop and support a robust reserving framework for Ally Insurance. You will independently lead projects from start to finish, perform advanced analytics, and communicate results to management and senior leadership.

Ideal candidates will show leadership, communication, and technical skills, with programming proficiency in R (SQL helpful). Hybrid Detroit-based role with remote options considered; base pay ranges from $85,000 to $150,000

Qualifications

• ACAS or near ACAS preferred.
• 4+ years actuarial or data science experience.
• Proficiency in R; SQL is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; US work authorization.
