Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or closely related discipline
• Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or closely related discipline (preferred)
• 3 years experience in an actuarial role
• 6 exam components (required)
• 10+ exam components (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Define and diagnose problems; outline data requirements and devise solutions
• Create studies, analyses, and materials for decision makers
• Ensure internal/external consistency and perform reasonability checks
• Mentor less experienced staff and provide technical input
• Develop new processes and improve outcomes to meet corporate goals
• Manage multiple projects with minimal oversight
