Job summary

Guy Carpenter is seeking an SVP Actuarial Advisor to serve as a strategic partner to brokers and clients, delivering effective actuarial solutions and expanding client services. The role blends leadership with hands-on modeling, risk analysis and client engagement.

The position emphasizes collaboration with broking teams, development of pricing strategies, and use of modern analytical tools to add value in reinsurance discussions. It is a hybrid role with three days in the office and two remote.

Qualifications

• ACAS designation required, FCAS preferred.
• Experience pricing, valuation, and/or capital modeling.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency with MS Office; visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).
• Coding experience in Alteryx, R, Python, VBA or SQL.

Responsibilities

• Propose actuarial services and valuations to clients.
• Modify complex models and develop value-added models with brokers and clients.
• Lead a team to build specialty models for risk assessment and pricing strategies.
• Engage with senior management on progress and issues in projects.
• Communicate strategically with brokers, reinsurers and clients to expand services.
