Guy Carpenter seeks an SVP Actuarial Advisor to partner with brokers and clients, delivering innovative actuarial solutions and expanding services beyond traditional analysis. As a senior leader, you will guide modeling efforts, discuss risks, and shape pricing strategies while engaging with clients directly.

The role blends analytical leadership with business development, requiring ACAS (FCAS preferred) and a strong background in pricing, valuation, and capital modeling.

Qualifications

• ACAS designation (FCAS preferred) and 7–10+ years of industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• Experience in pricing, valuation, and/or capital modeling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).
• Coding experience in Alteryx, R, Python, VBA, or SQL.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; collaborative with brokers/clients.

Responsibilities

• Act independently to propose actuarial services and valuations to clients.
• Modify complex specialty models and propose value-added models for risk assessment and forecasting.
• Expand client services beyond transactions to drive business development.
• Direct a team to build complex specialty models and develop pricing strategies.
• Advise senior management on issues and progress of reinsurance transactions.
• Communicate strategically with brokers, reinsurers, and clients to anticipate needs.
