Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in recreation, gerontology, or related field preferred.
• Prior experience with seniors or in healthcare; 0 years of experience minimum.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment up to 25 pounds.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with commitment to exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing activity programs for residents, including social events, recreational activities, and therapeutic programs.
• Encourage resident participation and engagement in activities to promote socialization, exercise, and mental stimulation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff, providing exceptional service and support.
• Assist with daily living tasks, escorting residents to meals, activities, and appointments, and assisting with daily routines.
• Collaborate with the Activity Director and team to achieve activity program goals and objectives.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of resident activities, progress, and feedback.
