Job summary

Applicants should have a High School Degree and 1–3 years experience in elder care, be able to lift 50 pounds, speak English clearly, and hold a valid MA driver's license. Weekend/holiday coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Degree and 1 to 3 years experience in working with the elderly preferred.
• Must be able to speak the English language in an understandable manner.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid MA Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety regulations and keep program/activity areas clean and safe.
• Maintain records and follow schedules as directed by supervisor.
• Inspect and maintain grounds, buildings, and equipment for safety.
• Report accidents/incidents to supervisor promptly.
• Assist with program activities and in-service education as needed.
• Adhere to infection control, PPE use, and proper disposal of infectious wastes.
• Drive Heritage vehicle for errands or other approved uses.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Executive Director.
