Job summary

Community LIFE is seeking a Therapeutic Activities Assistant in McKeesport, PA. The role supports the Activities Coordinator in planning and delivering engaging activity programs for older adults at our day center.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license for occasional community travel. Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm, with a competitive benefits package including health, retirement, and paid leave.

Qualifications

• Ability to work cooperatively with Activities Coordinator and Day Center staff.
• Willingness to use skills, talents, and creativity to enhance activity programming format.
• Ability/knowledge to take on leadership role in the absence of Activities Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, coordinating and implementing therapeutic activities for older adults.
• Travel to homes within the community to lead activities when needed (Driver's license required).
• Collaborate with the Activities Coordinator and Day Center staff to run daily programs.
