Job summary

Azria Health is seeking a Director of Activities to lead a comprehensive, seven-days-per-week activity program for residents. The role emphasizes engaging residents through emotional, intellectual, physical, social, and spiritual activities, coordinating outings, and managing communications.

Requirements include a HS diploma (AA/BA in human services or recreation therapy preferred), background checks, and strong planning and leadership skills. CNA and driver’s license are assets.

Qualifications

• Must pass background screen and drug screen.
• Ability to plan, organize and communicate activities that promote participation.
• Effective time management and multitasking required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and implement a seven-days-per-week activity program.
• Organize outings and transportation for residents.
• Develop resident interests into engaging programming.
• Coordinate in-house newsletter with input from residents and staff.
