Job summary

Green Lea Senior Living in Mabel, MN is seeking an Activities Assistant to lead engaging programs for residents. You will run games, crafts, music, exercise, and social events to keep residents active and connected.

No experience is required; paid training is provided. You’ll support a warm, inclusive community and work a full-time schedule 8:30 am – 4:30 pm with occasional evenings and weekends. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and a 401K.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Availability for occasional evenings and weekends.
• No experience required. Paid training provided.
• A positive attitude and a passion for working with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun activities like games, crafts, music, exercise, and social events.
• Encourage residents to participate and offer one-on-one support when needed.
• Adapt activities to each resident’s interests and abilities.
• Help plan and run holiday celebrations, birthdays, and special events.
• Set up and clean up activity spaces before and after programs.
• Track activity attendance and share resident updates with the Activities Director.
• Help create a warm, positive community for residents, families, and visitors.
