North Platte Valley Medical Center in Saratoga, WY is seeking a dedicated Activities Assistant to support the Extended Care team. You will help plan, lead, and participate in recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance residents' social, emotional, and physical well-being.

This full-time position requires a high school diploma and CNA/BLS credentials (or ability to obtain). You will collaborate with nursing and other departments, assist with outings, calendars, and care planning, and help

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Prior work with seniors or in healthcare preferred.
• Certifications: CNA certification and BLS required or able to obtain.
• Other: Valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Assist with planning and leading group and one-on-one activities.
• Escort and support residents during outings, community events, and social gatherings.
• Help create monthly activity calendars and update schedules as needed.
• Maintain activity supplies and keep spaces safe, clean, and welcoming.
• Encourage resident involvement while respecting individual abilities, interests, and needs.
• Document participation and assist with resident progress notes.
• Provide input at care plan meetings as requested.
• Collaborate with nursing and other departments to enhance resident quality of life.
