Job summary

MaineHealth's Mid Coast Senior Health Center seeks an Activities Aide to support the Manager of Social Events & Volunteers. You will plan and deliver a daily activities calendar that meets residents' physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs, with 70% resident interaction and 30% documentation and planning.

Required KSAs include coursework in healthcare fields; prior elderly care or dementia experience is preferred. Part-time and full-time roles may offer flexibility and benefits.

Qualifications

• Education coursework in healthcare-related fields preferred.
• Experience in clinical settings with the elderly preferred.
• Experience with people with dementia in residential settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a daily calendar of activities for residents.
• Interact with residents to meet physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Assist managers of Social Events & Volunteers with planning and coordinating activities.
