Job summary

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks an experienced Active Directory Administrator in Austin to manage AD/ Azure AD, DNS, and Group Policy for the enterprise. You will coordinate technical direction, document procedures, and lead a team with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include AD design, migration, security practices, and 24/7 support readiness. Candidates should have strong PowerShell skills and experience with PKI/Certificate Services.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in planning, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Windows and Active Directory.
• 3 years’ experience in supporting Azure Active Directory.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Active Directory (AD) and Azure AD/Microsoft Entra ID.
• Configure DNS and Group Policy; manage AD sites, domains, trusts, and schema.
• Provide Tier III support and lead technical initiatives across IT teams.
