Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Journeyman Acquisition Information Protection Manager (AIPM) at Eglin AFB, FL to support acquisition program security across the program life cycle. Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelors with required years of relevant experience and SFPC/SPeD certification must be met.
• Experience implementing security policies derived from EO and DoD manuals.
• Ability to develop and maintain secure environments for government and contractor personnel.

Responsibilities

• Execute all aspects of acquisition program security throughout the program life cycle.
• Develop security practices and policies for acquisition, physical, personnel, industrial, and documentation security.
• Prepare program documentation security sections and review contractor deliverables for compliance.
• Develop system security documents including PPPs, Security Risk Analyses, OPSEC Plans, and RMF docs.
• Maintain databases tracking receipt, storage, inventory, and disposition of classified material.
• Participate in audits of government holdings to ensure accountability and compliance.
• Maintain visitor and clearance/access databases.
• Conduct inspections, inventories, logging, storage, and distribution of classified information.
• Provide security inspection and protection of storage areas and develop related procedures.
• Support opening/closing procedures for SCIFs, SAPFs, and other secure areas.
• Review and verify personnel qualifications for SAP eligibility.
• Develop and deliver security awareness and training programs.

Education

Masters degree and 4 years of relevant experience

Master’s and 3 years of relevant experience and Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Program Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)

Bachelors degree and 6 years of relevant experience

Bachelors and 5 years of relevant experience + SPeD SFPC

Associates degree and 10 years of relevant experience
