Position Title: Senior Acquisition Contracting Specialist (Hemi)

NOTE: THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT

1. 15+ years of proven practical expertise and relevant DoD, Air Force, and SSC work experience in contracts and subcontracts throughout the entire acquisition lifecycle and processes.
2. Master’s degree in a related technical field (business administration, project management) is required.
3. Expertise in acquiring highly classified ACAT-like space control systems.
4. Experience in developing and coordinating all activities and documentation required to support ACAT-like Defense Acquisition Boards (DABs).
5. Experience in developing and coordinating all activities and documentation required to support a major source selection.
6. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
7. Extensive knowledge in Air Force contracting and financial management.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven leadership capabilities that foster effective team collaboration.
9. Ability to lead all aspects of contract actions, including solicitations, change proposals, funding modifications, and award or incentive fee management.
10. Understanding of U.S. Space Force organizations, roles, and objectives aligned with customer and stakeholder needs.
11. Prior PCO or Buyer experience is preferred.
12. Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI Clearance.

Salaries are commensurate with experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations. The California pay transparency range is $149k - $170k.
