Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Senior Acquisition Analyst (Cyber Security) with a TS/SCI clearance to support Pentagon cybersecurity and IT policy within Arlington, VA. You will lead acquisition strategies, prepare PWS/SOW/SOO/IGAs, and coordinate with senior leaders on cost, schedule, and performance across multiple high-visibility programs.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in DoD program management, acquisition, or contract support.
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes, policies, and documentation requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret DoD policy and translate it into actionable acquisition guidance.
  • Experience identifying disconnects or gaps in Service-level or agency acquisition documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting IT or cyberspace-related programs within military components or DoD agencies.
  • Experience writing, researching, or interpreting DoD appropriations and acquisition-related documents.
  • Experience with RDT&E, Procurement, and O&M funding execution within a contract or program management context.
  • Advanced MS Word skills; proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial and program data related to operations, business performance, investments, and acquisition needs.
  • Support DoD CIO program management and acquisition activities across multiple contracts.
  • Conduct market research and advise on acquisition strategies to meet organizational requirements and timelines.
  • Support procurement actions for services, software licenses, and equipment.
  • Provide acquisition management support to ensure contract actions meet program objectives.
  • Develop acquisition documentation such as PWS, SOW, SOO, IGAs, cost estimates, DD254s, and contract modifications.
  • Draft policies and processes to improve contract procurement and implementation.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within program management and acquisition workflows.
  • Conduct contract analysis and prepare information papers regarding cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Use PIEE and EDA to verify and collect contract tracking documentation.
  • Leverage FAR and DFARS to ensure contractual accuracy, compliance, and legal sufficiency.
  • Maintain and update electronic contract folders and filing systems.
  • Draft executive briefs for leadership on program execution and contract status, including milestones, risks, and future planning.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, critical thinking, integrity, and leadership judgment.
  • Translate conceptual discussions into structured presentations to convey messages clearly.
  • Manage multiple priorities with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Apply new concepts rapidly in a dynamic, evolving environment.

Koniag IT Systems, LLC is seeking a Senior Acquisition Analyst (Cyber Security) to provide high‑level executive and acquisition support within a Pentagon cybersecurity and IT policy environment.

In this role, you will support senior leaders by developing, coordinating, and reviewing acquisition strategies, contract documentation, and programmatic recommendations. You will help shape and analyze cybersecurity‑related procurement priorities, ensure alignment with departmental objectives, and contribute to integrated acquisition planning and decision‑making activities across multiple concurrent, high‑visibility efforts.

  • Familiarity with OMB Circular A‑11 (acquisition‑relevant portions) and laws governing DoD contracting
  • Experience translating high‑level strategy documents into acquisition requirements or contract language
  • Ability to use CATMS or similar systems to manage, update, and track staff actions
Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Prefer Financial Management, Business Administration, Technology, or other applicable discipline)
