Job summary

Intuitive Research and Technology Corporation in Huntsville, AL seeks an experienced Acquisition Analyst to support a government customer. You will interpret FAR/DFARS, prepare market research, and advise on contract strategy while coordinating cradle-to-grave contracting efforts.

The role requires a BS/BA, 10+ years of DoD contracting experience, and a TS clearance; proficiency with IDIQ, CPFF, and FFP contracts, plus strong documentation and office software skills.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree required.
• 10+ years of direct, relevant DoW contracting experience.
• Extensive knowledge of contracting for major systems, R&D, and/or complex programs.
• Experience in writing and staffing pre-award and post-award contract documentation.
• Knowledge of IDIQ, CPFF, and FFP contract types.

We are seeking an experienced Acquisition Analyst to provide direct support our government customer. You must be proficient at interpreting and applying laws, regulations, policies, standards, and procedures governing federal acquisitions, particularly in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS). The ideal candidate excels at multitasking, prioritizing deadlines, and communicating professionally.

• Extensive knowledge of contracting for a variety of products and services for major systems, research and development (R&D), and/or complex programs using a wide range of contracting methodologies
• Demonstrated experience in writing and staffing pre-award and post award related contract documentation
• Possess a robust knowledge of Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contracts
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must have an in-scope Top Secret security clearance

Desired

• Acquisition Career Field Certifications (FAC-C Professional or DAWIA Level III)
• Direct experience as a Federal Contracting Officer
