Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Acquisition Specialist to support a large-scale AI R&D infrastructure program under an IDIQ with multiple task orders. You will serve as a trusted advisor to Government and program staff, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS, evaluating proposals, and guiding contract modifications.

Candidates must have TS/SCI with Polygraph, a Bachelor's or higher with DoD/IC experience, and strong contract management skills.

Qualifications

• Active TS SCI with Polygraph is required.
• 5+ years of DoD/IC acquisition support experience.
• Solid knowledge of FAR/DFARS and acquisition processes.
• Experience with IDIQ/task order contracts and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Trusted Acquisition Advisor to Government and Program staff
• Support ongoing task order development, evaluation, and award
• Monitor contractor performance against SOW/PWS requirements
• Track deliverables against CDRL including Project Management Plan and design reviews
• Support COTR and CLIN managers with technical evaluation of contractor submissions
• Coordinate with multiple contract mechanisms (IDIQ, network connectivity, data management, experimentation support)
• Prepare acquisition status briefs and risk assessments for leadership
• Maintain contract documentation and lessons learned
