Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or similar.
• 4+ years of hands-on professional acoustic engineering/research experience.
• Solid understanding of loudspeakers, waveguides, and transducers.
• Experience using acoustic simulation and design software tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software engineers on tools for designing and modeling loudspeaker systems; optimize acoustic measurement, data analysis, and design verification workflows.
• Design loudspeaker enclosures, waveguides and novel acoustical elements.
• Be a catalyst for innovation and new IP generation.
• Accelerate our innovation process; conduct research and explore emerging technology trends.
• Create technical proposals aligned with product vision and business goals.
• Collaborate on architecture and design documents.
• Create product prototypes leveraging cross-functional teams and external support.
• Champion innovation while meeting cost, schedule, and quality targets.
• Support company objectives by completing additional tasks as needed.
