Job summary

IMEG is seeking a Senior Acoustics or Senior AV Designer to lead design efforts on projects across market sectors, collaborating with engineers and consultants to deliver effective acoustics and AV solutions.

You will manage budgets, mentor staff, ensure design quality, and work with clients to meet expectations and codes. A strong background in acoustics/AV and CTS is required, with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Degree in acoustics or architectural engineering or related field.
• AV/architectural acoustics background with demonstrated knowledge.
• CTS or related certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for acoustics or AV projects across market sectors.
• Explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences with clarity.
• Collaborate with engineers and clients to meet requirements and budgets.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, and documentation of design decisions.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure quality control throughout design.
