Job summary

IMEG is hiring a Senior Acoustics or Senior Audiovisual (AV) Designer to lead acoustics/AV design across multiple building projects. You will mentor staff, coordinate with engineers and clients, and ensure delivery within budget and schedule. A minimum of 14 years in building design consulting is preferred, with 16+ years desirable.

This is a senior role in a collaborative, employee-owned firm. Salary range shown reflects $101,000–$141,000 in the United States, with benefits including bonuses

Qualifications

• Degree(s) in acoustics or architectural engineering or related field with strong acoustics coursework.
• Electrical/AV engineering degree with coursework in electroacoustics or acoustics preferred.
• Minimum years of experience align with senior designer level (14+ years, 16+ preferred) in building design consulting.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for acoustics or AV in building projects across markets.
• Mentor less experienced staff and train project teams.
• Collaborate with engineers and clients to define requirements and deliverables.
• Oversee projects through bidding and construction; manage budgets and schedules.
