Job summary

IMEG is growing and seeks a Senior Acoustics or Senior Audiovisual (AV) Designer to lead design efforts as a project manager. You will work with engineers and consultants to provide acoustics or AV solutions, ensuring positive client outcomes and delivery within budget.

Responsibilities include design development, mentoring junior staff, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and advancing innovative solutions while maintaining IMEG quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in acoustics or related field with strong acoustics experience.
• 14+ years in building design consulting; 16+ preferred.
• AV/acoustics experience for buildings; CTS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for acoustics or AV projects across market sectors.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Manage client relationships and gather project requirements.
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and progress of design deliverables.
• Coordinate design with multidisciplinary team including calculations per code and standards.
• Perform design reviews to ensure IMEG quality standards are met.
