SmithGroup is seeking a Senior Acoustician to join our team in a hybrid work environment in Los Angeles. The role involves advising on room acoustics, noise and vibration control, and developing solutions for healthcare, education, corporate spaces, and science & technology projects.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of consulting experience, strong field measurement skills, and proficiency with tools like Revit, EASE, and CadnaA/SoundPLAN.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Acoustics or related field with vibration/acoustics specialization.
• 10+ years of consulting and design experience in Healthcare, Higher Education, Corporate Workplace, and Science & Technology markets.
• Experience with field measurements and standard-compliant testing (ASTM).

Mansioni

• Advise on acoustics, room acoustics, noise isolation, vibration control and vibro-acoustic design.
• Review design standards and develop acoustical goals for projects.
• Produce detailed acoustic reports, sketches, drawings, and specifications.
• Mentor junior staff and support professional development.
• Support marketing efforts and pursue new acoustics opportunities.
• Represent SmithGroup in professional societies and industry associations.
