Job summary

Golden State Communications seeks an Accounting Specialist II to join our accounting team. You will handle invoicing, AR, tax administration, and collections, while supporting month-end close and reporting.

The role requires collaboration with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service to resolve issues and improve processes. Ideal candidate has 3–5 years of related experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of accounting, billing, accounts receivable, collections, or customer accounting experience required.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process customer invoices from orders accurately and timely.
• Manage accounts receivable, collections, and payment application.
• Administer day-to-day sales tax compliance using Avalara.
• Prepare AR aging reports and assist month-end closing.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Associate's degree in related field
