Job summary

Stanley 1913 is seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst to drive cash flow and financial performance across its Americas business. You will manage AR, collections, chargebacks, and credit management, partnering with Sales, Logistics, Customer Service, and Finance to resolve issues and mitigate risk.

The role requires 8+ years in finance, AR, and credit management, ERP experience (Oracle SAP), and advanced Excel/Power BI skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in finance and accounting, AR or credit management.
  • Experience leading complex customer accounts and resolving collections and credit issues.
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis and AR controls.
  • Experience in a multinational or matrixed organization; ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

The Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst plays a critical role in supporting healthy cash flow and financial performance across Stanley 1913’s Americas business. This position owns key aspects of accounts receivable, collections, chargeback resolution, and customer credit management. You will partner closely with customers and cross-functional teams—including Sales, Logistics, Customer Service, and Finance—to resolve account issues, mitigate credit risk, improve processes, and ensure transactions and reporting are completed accurately and on time. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical judgment, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to independently manage a complex portfolio in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

What You’ll Do

Accounts Receivable, Collections, and Chargebacks (70%)

  • Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process for an assigned customer portfolio, including collections, account reconciliations, dispute resolution, and root-cause analysis.
  • Proactively manage aging balances, unapplied payments, credits, and deductions; contact customers regarding past-due balances, provide account statements, and establish clear plans for payment or issue resolution.
  • Partner with internal teams to validate, research, dispute, and resolve customer chargebacks and claims, while identifying recurring trends and recommending solutions to address underlying process issues.
  • Process customer credit memos and refunds in accordance with internal policies and review orders on credit hold, balancing risk mitigation with business and shipment needs.
  • Maintain accurate customer credit, collections, and account documentation while building productive relationships with internal business partners and external customers.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly AR aging reports, metrics, and portfolio updates; support financial reporting, month-end and year-end close, and internal and external audits while ensuring compliance with company and group accounting requirements.
  • Participate in operational improvement, automation, and system-enhancement initiatives.

Credit Management (30%)

  • Support the onboarding of new customer accounts, including credit review and establishment of appropriate credit terms and limits.
  • Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers using financial documents, credit reports, payment history, and other available risk data.
  • Conduct regular reviews of customer credit limits and payment terms, identifying emerging risks and recommending appropriate actions.
  • Use multiple credit-risk platforms and data sources to inform credit decisions.
  • Communicate credit findings, risks, and recommended solutions clearly to Finance leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 8+ years working experience in finance and accounting, AR, Chargeback, Credit Management experience, or a related finance and accounting function.
  • Experience leading complex customer accounts and independently resolving collections, deductions, payment application, and credit issues.
  • Strong understanding of customer credit analysis, financial risk assessment, and accounts receivable controls.
  • Experience working in a multinational or complex, matrixed organization; experience within a group-company structure is a plus.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle EBS and SAP.
  • Proficiency in use of MS Office, in particular MS Excel/PowerPoint/Power BI
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience creating clear financial reports and analysis.
  • Experience with PowerPoint and Power BI is preferred.

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.

Salary Range

$85,000 - $105,000 USD
