Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead a high-volume AP environment at our Newton, MA office. You will standardize processes, develop procedures, and manage AP staff to meet deadlines and close cycles, while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor skills in supervising AP staff and leading a team
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, procurement and general ledger processes
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Excellent decision-making, organizational, planning and time management abilities
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication and relationship-building across levels

Responsibilities

• Drive standardization and implement process improvements across the AP function
• Develop and maintain AP procedures, policies and process documentation
• Manage and shift priorities of AP staff to meet deadlines and close
• Provide escalation follow-through and resolve AP invoice issues
• Oversee month-end close of AP sub-ledgers and GL reconciliations
• Assist in troubleshooting AP issues impacting close process
• Coordinate with Internal/External auditors for Sox compliance
• Perform other duties as assigned by the accounting leadership team
