Job Description

The Senior Accounts Payable Specialist manages daily supplier updates, executes payment runs, resolves report issues, issues Form 1099s, and collaborates with the Treasury team on payments and reporting.

Responsibilities:

1. Review and update Supplier Master database; assist end users; review and resolve invoice payment concerns; support audit and validation processes.
2. Process EFT payments; maintain payment reports and logs; ensure accuracy and completeness.
3. Run and resolve issues from monthly AP reports; communicate with relevant teams.
4. Assist AP team with questions and special projects, including automation and process improvements.
5. Update tax information in third-party management software; ensure IRS compliance with Form 1099 filings.
6. Provide backup for AP functions and handle ad hoc internal requests.

Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Accounting preferred; High School diploma required.
• At least 5 years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Proficiency in AP processing, data analysis, and interpretation.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word; excellent communication skills.
• Proactive, organized, detail-oriented, team player, eager to learn.
• ERP AP knowledge is a plus.

Salary: $48,503-$59,963
