Job summary

Albany Medical Center is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join the Accounts Payable team. The role focuses on entering invoices, credits, reimbursements, and statement reviews within the ERP system to support the Albany Med Health System across campuses.

The coordinator will handle more complex transactions, assist with process oversight, and provide excellent service to internal and external stakeholders while supporting other team members as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related area.
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

• Enter invoices, credits, reimbursements, and statement reviews in ERP promptly and accurately.
• Ensure compliance with policies and approve documentation for payment processing.
• Review unapproved invoices and resolve exceptions with stakeholders.
• Develop weekly review processes to identify processing errors and optimize workflows.
• Support supplier onboarding to electronic data exchange (EDI) and maintain records.
