Job summary

The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Analyst to lead AP and related accounting activities from its Washington, DC office. The role emphasizes processing invoices, non-employee expense reimbursements, and reporting on payment metrics.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in AP/GL, proficiency with Workday, Concur, and PowerBI, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in leading Accounts Payable and general ledger transactions.
• Experience effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, manage competing priorities, and take ownership of deliverables with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage day-to-day Accounts Payable activities and meet deadlines.
• Resolve payment issues and discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor invoices in process and address potential challenges to prevent late payments.
• Research issues and recommend resolutions for AP matters.
• Provide analysis and supporting documentation to stakeholders on time.
• Lead or co-lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end tasks, including asset documentation and accrued/prepaid expenses.
• Assist with vendor onboarding, master-file maintenance, and vendor risk management.
