Qualifications

• Advanced techniques, procedures and practices of budgetary control, payroll, accounting and audit.
• Ability to perform complex clerical accounting functions with independent judgment.
• Knowledge of district financial accounting systems and related laws and policies.

Responsibilities

• Verify payroll data, employee status, deductions, and budget information.
• Balance payroll, fringe benefits and Medicare by fund; prepare corrective actions.
• Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and accounts payable; maintain vendor files.
• Prepare and review financial reports and reconcile accounts; ensure accuracy of records.
• Assist with audits, reports, and compliance with district financial regulations.
• Provide information regarding fiscal policies to employees and departments.
