Contact Government Services, LLC seeks a Senior Accounting Technician to join the Finance team supporting a large federal agency. You will manage accounts payable, reimbursement activity, and oversee various interagency financial processes.

Ideal candidates have a two-year accounting degree or higher, strong knowledge of UFMS and related systems, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. This full-time role offers growth opportunities within a government-contracting environment.

Formación

• Knowledge of manual and automated accounting systems used by banking, financial and other institutions.
• Experience with commitments, obligations, and interagency reimbursement agreements.
• Experience with quarterly review, accrual and closeout process.
• Ability to provide analysis and technical support for financial activities.
• Ability to identify and analyze changes in budgetary and/or financial activities.
• Must be a US Citizen upfront.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
• UFSM, JEDI, SAFARI, E‑2, and Excel proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Manage accounts payable and reimbursement activity.
• Reconcile financial books and prepare reports for DOJ and other agencies.
• Analyze data using UFMS, JEDI, SAFARI, E‑2, and SAMS.gov.
• Record and retrieve financial data for reimbursable and billing processes.
• Support UFMS transaction processing and provide system error resolutions.
• Prepare memorandums and financial documents; communicate with vendors.
