Job summary

HD Supply seeks a senior accounting leader to direct complex accounting activities, including month-end close and detailed financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and integrity. The role mentors accounting personnel and drives adoption of new standards and continuous process improvements.

You will oversee system updates across core accounting and AP platforms, coordinate with Accounting, Finance, and IT, and lead the end-to-end project lifecycle from requirements to deployment while maintaining

Qualifications

BS/BA in related discipline; 8+ years of accounting/finance experience or MS/MA with 5+ years.
Experience leading complex accounting close, financial reporting, and system upgrades.
Certification is required in some areas.
Ability to mentor accounting personnel and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead updates/upgrades across core accounting and AP platforms.
Act as primary liaison between Accounting, Finance, and IT.
Manage end-to-end system project lifecycle: requirements, design, testing, deployment.
Maintain test scripts and testing frameworks for new features.
Direct testing strategy and oversee defect resolution.
Oversee data reconciliation during upgrades to ensure balance sheet accuracy.
Develop team members and manage timelines and resources.
